![]() ![]() "Uncheck Run Installer when downloaded (optional)" & "After the download is complete, run the setup to install" I finally read the Editor's notes all the way to the bottom of the bottom and saw this statement: The first mistake I made was allowing the download installer to automatically do the install which didn't work. I have never had as much difficulty with an install. Well I spent most of the day removing Paragon and trying 4 times to get Macrium Reflect to install. It's pretty straight forward once you install Macrium. Just re-read my last 2 posts and watch the videos, follow the steps. The steps should be very easy to follow and I don't think you should have any problems. The videos are short because the process is practically automated now and requires little user input. Read my notes, watch the youtube videos and all said and done. I posted which links and files to download. Zack3, just read the notes I posted on the first page. All that is automated now and not needed anymore. It was still very technical in v6, as you used diskpart and had to chose WinPE environment and etc. Majority of those steps are not needed anymore in the current v8.1 of the Reflect software as they have all become automated. It will come in handy if using an older version like you're using (v6). I had never used Reflect before this so my notes essentially presumes no real knowledge of Reflect.I took a look at your PDF. ![]() It's Reflect 6 but, the basic info should still be viable. In case you might find it useful, I've attached a PDF I created from my notes when I was testing Reflect. ![]() I'd download the "Download (64bit)" option. I'm still using Reflect 6 on my Win7/Pro desktop system (and.also on my Win8.1/Pro laptop and my (experimental) Win10/Pro laptop). ![]()
